John Lennon
Imagine
At No.9, on the “The Top 50 U.K. Albums Chart” on the day I am born, is John Lennon with “Imagine”.
John’s latest album…
…was still enjoying a residency in the Top Ten this week in 1972.
The previous year, some 4 months before, back in the Autumn of 1971, on the 24th of October to be exact, the album had gone straight in at the Top of the UK Album Chart and stayed for a couple of weeks.
“Imagine” will still have weeks, even months to run on this first stretch and briefly leave in the middle of Summer 1972 after the first week in July.
More visits will arrive, and John will appear again around a week during one of my future Birthdays.
For now though, we will leave the story here and catch back up with him then.
I’ve created my own separate playlists for both Sides 1 and 2 of this album with (I hope) the correct versions and the original track sequencing order for the U.K. release.

Side 2
Many thanks go to the John Lennon’s Official YouTube Channel (@johnlennon) for providing the chance to hear the tracks so that together we can experience both sides of this album release, as it was intended, once again.
Please show your support by visiting his channel.
