Candlewick Green
Who Do You Think You Are?

At No.50, on the “The Top 50 U.K. Singles Chart”, the week of my 2nd Birthday, are Candlewick Green with Who Do You Think You Are?.
A new chart,..
…a New Year and a New Entry to begin!
Another chart placing boosted along by a TV talent show appearance.
A band with a name playing on the title of the popular 1960’s British children’s television series Camberwick Green; a programme I personally used to love, along with its companion series’ Trumpton and Chigley.
This was the group’s most successful single, charting after their successful appearance on Opportunity Knocks, which subsequently gifted them a record deal with DECCA; similar to previous musical winners in the past, including Neil Reid, who appeared in my featured chart a couple of years before.
The single…
…this week becomes a New Entry; the first of 7 in this week’s Top 50 Chart.
From here,..
…in a couple more weeks, it will climb enough places to break the Top 30. Two weeks even further, and it will almost see it hit the Top 20, but ultimately it will just stop short at No.21, which will end up being the single’s highest position, from the 10th of March.
The group will spend a further 4 weeks in the chart, before taking their leave after the 13th of April with an 8 week total to show for it.
