At No.46, on the “The Top 50 U.K. Singles Chart” on my 1st Birthday, is Blue Mink with “Stay With Me”.
The 4th of 5 singles so far…
…which are having their final week on the U.K. singles Chart this week.
Blue Mink had already accomplished a 13 week consecutive streak when they had entered the chart at No.50, on the 5th of November the previous year in 1972, and climbed to within touching distance of the Top 10 when it got to No.11 on the 8th of December before falling away, and eventually departing, after the 3rd of February 1973.
After having a week away,..
…they re-entered at No.43 last week on the 11th before slipping to this position, adding 2 extra weeks to their tally to make 15 weeks on chart altogether.
