This appropriately titled album, unless you count the very first album by the original line-up featuring vocalists Denny Laine and Clint Warwick, would be their last for a while, before taking a break during the mid 1970’s.
With a theme for this album taking inspiration from Geoffery Chaucer’s magnum opus “The Canterbury Tales”, the decision for the feel of the music harked back to their earlier orchestral success, when the Moodies got their second lease of life back in the late 1960’s…
