Focus
Hocus Pocus
At No.20, on the “The Top 50 U.K. Singles Chart” on my 1st Birthday, is Focus with “Hocus Pocus”.
As we reach the Top 20,..
…we find Focus this week at their peak U.K. chart position with this single.
The single entered the chart on the 14th of January at No.40, climbed only one place to No.39 the following week but, helped by a live club tour, they climbed steadily, reaching the Top 30 at No.30 on the 4th of February.
After this week’s high, they’ll gradually fall away before disappearing after the 24th of March.
37 years later,..
…by which time the chart now took in the Top 100, “Hocus Pocus” magically re-appeared for a week at No.57 on the 6th of June 2010, no doubt due to effectively featuring in a Nike commercial.
