James Last
In Russia
At No.13, on the “The Top 50 U.K. Albums Chart” on my 1st Birthday, is James Last with “In Russia”.
Another album from James appears this week.
This will be his third in this week’s chart alone.
It seems James Last caught the zeitgeist and releases this selection of tunes, including the Sabre Dance (which features on an album further down this chart), at the height of the public’s attention.
This week it is welcomed as a brand new entry in the U.K. where it hits its highest position.
It will settle into the Top 30 in the next couple of weeks, briefly disappearing at the end of March before adding another couple of weeks at the end of April, completing its run of 8 weeks, and leaving after the 28th of that month.
I’ve created my own separate playlists for both Sides 1 and 2 of this album with (I hope) the correct versions and the original track sequencing order for the U.K. release.
